The primary Jagger/Richards composition to succeed in number 1 on the UK singles charts was "The Last Time" (launched in February 1965); it went to number 9 within the US. The US version of the LP Out of Our Heads (released in July 1965) also went to number 1; it included seven authentic songs (three Jagger/Richards numbers and four credited to Nanker Phelge).
